Description
My mom got me these pins from Redbubble. Unus Annus was a YouTube channel where Markiplier and Ethan Nestor made a video every day for a year, and at the end of the year, they deleted everything from the whole channel. With 365 episodes, they even deleted the merch store. The cool thing was that we were told it would be deleted. “Memento Mori” means “remember death” or “remember you will die” in Latin, and “Unus Annus” means “one year” in Latin. I saw the announcement for the channel release and was excited for it, then I saw the name of the first episode and no longer had an interest, until my friend showed me episodes months later, and I finally got into it. By the time I started rewatching everything, it was getting kind of closer to being deleted, but somehow I got to see all of them, some more than once. My friend and I stayed up to watch the final live stream. We stayed up till 3 am to watch the channel be deleted. There were some rules for the followers; we were not supposed to watch the videos again or archive anything, but people were allowed to post clips, just not full episodes. November 13 was the five-year anniversary. Memento Mori Unus Annus.
